Holidays and outdoor experiences are broadening our horizons!

We have been watching new puppies and kittens grow in the village and are becoming experts at helping to look after the school hens and duck and collecting and carrying eggs!

We have introduced a ‘Loose parts’ area in our outside provision to encourage children to creatively use a variety of materials to support their play and learning.

This term we will be encouraging the children to discover what they can do, boosting their self esteem before some move on to school in the Autumn

Jennifer is now on Maternity leave and we welcome Chloe as a new member of staff.

Our latest Ofsted report with the inspector's comments:-  'a warm, nurturing environment where children form close, secure emotional attachments and rapidly develop their confidence and enthusiasm for learning'; 'wide range of stimulating activities and experiences'; ' high quality of teaching';'staff work closely with parents' ; 'children are very successfully supported as they move on to the next stage in their learning, ensuring that they make comfortable transfers to school'.
